A livelier look

In the meantime I implement the backup process that experience has shown me is required, I did some quick changes to the default settings of the Flexibility2 theme, aimed at giving this blog a livelier look. I wanted more light to it, so I chose a nice blue sky image for the header, with just the right amount of fluffy clouds.

The sidebar titles now go over a two-toned light gray background. I would say it’s an easier-to-read presentation. I’ll stay with it…

    Hi Jose,

I like the look of your theme. I have no idea how to do what you did, changing the color of the theme etc.

I think you’ll make up for your loss quickly. I heard that this could happen and that backing up everything is a good idea but I never knew of anyone that it happened to.

Word Press is very good but this shows that it’s not perfect. The other day I was updating my post and editing it and for no reason the formating got lost. I mean the breaks in the text between paragraphs disappeared.

One thing I’m always careful about is not going to the newest version of Word Press as soon as they come up with it. I like to wait until I have to update.

Which version of Word Press did you have when your work in a text widget caused you to lose everything?

    Vance.

      Welcome to my blog, Vance!
I made the changes to the theme by going to Appearance – Flexibility2 Theme Options. From there you can change the color, remove the default feature section (the one with the built-in ads), choose a different header design and much more.
I settled down for what you’ve seen, but I still find it somewhat lackluster… But I really appreciate your comment on the looks of it.
I was working with version 2.8 and I still am. What bothers me about what happened is that I have no idea to why it happened.

      Cheers,
      Jose
