Good to have you here, Jason! I myself come from your blog, actually.

It's funny how we put a price on misery... and then we really go all the way to take it!
What's paradoxical is that with all the tools and techniques currently available, we're still working the long hours.

Yes, we must make this work. We have to realize, though, that it might take us longer if at the same time we want to keep our jobs because demanding jobs will always require full time.

Regards,
Jose

Hi Jose,

Thought of popping by to check out your blog. This post
caught my attention though.

Believe me, I know exactly what you are trying say here.

I do not have any kids but my day job is very very taxing in
a sense that my boss love to see his staff working like a dog
for long hours, not to mention, how he like to make a miilion
different changes in his work request from us which caused
so many of his employee suffering from ADD.

I often came home emotionally and mentally beaten up!

The salary may look slightly better than most other in the
industries, but is actually not as I had spend a big chunk
of it with medical bills. There are quite a few colleagues
who are like me, struggling with all kind of health issues.

I found it extremely challenging to maintain the balance
between fulfilling my taxing day job, daily obligations, my
health and my internet venture. But I also know that if I
don't do anything about it, is a dead end anyway.

Let's encourage each other!

WE MUST MAKE THIS WORK!!!

Cheers

Jason Ser

P/S: Thanks for your compliment you have on my blog, and the plug in you asked is Simple CAPTCHA, in case you had not read
it on my response yet.

Hey, welcome again, Vance!

I too get easily distracted or do things that are not relevant. We fight a constant struggle... against ourselves!

Hi Jose,

Good post and I think at least for me you hit the nail on the head with your last comment here.

It holds true for me that the more time I have the more of it I tend to waste.

I mean I do things that are useful but not the most useful ones that I should be focusing on.

But as long as we are aware and keep on improving we'll get there.

Thank you for the visit, Mike!

I think I am now more inclined to state that my strongest constraint is my approach... I mean, I can argue that I do not have enough time but, what about the way I use the time that I have? It is little time but I should be using it more effectively.

See you at your blog!

Jose

My family is a little older but as a single parent I recognise the time constraints only too well.
Keep up the good work-the blog looks great.

Hi Jose,

I'm glad that I am not the only one that feels this way. I have about four hours in the early morning to work on my blog. I feel I need at least that much time, just to learn, work on generating traffic and write blog posts. Then I leave for work.

I might start to work on it at night, though. After work, that's actually a good idea. Just to get in a few hours each evening, because I agree. I don't want to be in the same position I was a year from now :)

You're blog is coming along wonderfully,
Talk soon,
Karen

Julie, thanks a lot for stopping by!

The wee hours it has to be, indeed.
I've concentrated lately on visiting and posting in forums outside our community, I need to start seeing "foreign" visitors to my place. How are you doing yourself?

Best regards,
Jose

Hi Jose,

Nice clean site and easy to navigate.

I agree it takes time, but your right on track with setting time aside and eliminating the distractions. The wee hours of the night work the best for me as well. Just taking action and sticking to the plan you find the momentum build before you realize it :-)

Falling forward with you!

Hi Jose,

I just read your email regarding the sidebar widgets, it was a big help. I'll have a play around with it later on.

Thanks for that, Jose.

Take care,

Paul.
